Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and day‑to‑day accounting operations. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures accurate financial statements, effective cash‑flow management, timely month‑end and year‑end closes, and strict compliance with internal controls and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities.
• Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and overall financial performance.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Analyse financial data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, tax regulations and other financial laws.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement cost‑efficiency and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Lead, supervise and develop the finance team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support strategic business initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
• Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and month‑/year‑end closing.
• Experience in retail, FMCG or consumer‑focused businesses preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
