Finance Manager

About the role

Alibaba Amusement is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance department. The role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Finance Department to guarantee accurate and timely financial operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop, monitor, and manage company budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasts.
• Record and reconcile daily revenue, expenses, and financial transactions across all business outlets.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with Myanmar tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and relevant government agencies.
• Strengthen internal controls and implement financial policies to minimize risks.
• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations for growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with Operations and other departments to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA (Part II/Finalist) or similar professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance and accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in retail, entertainment, hospitality, FMCG, or multi‑branch operations is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
