Deputy Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Deputy Finance Business Partner supports Business Units and Functions by delivering financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and decision‑support services. Working closely with senior finance leaders, the role ensures that financial targets align with business agendas and that reporting is accurate and insightful.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and economic profit calculations linked to business agenda items.
• Support Business Units/Functions with reporting requirements and budget preparation.
• Translate annual business plans into budgets, monitor financial targets and KPIs as delegated by the Senior Finance Team.
• Drive and support forecast submissions for Business Units.
• Assist Business Heads with capital‑expenditure proposals, including NPV calculations and qualitative justification.
• Work on the implementation of new bank products, establishing accounting entries and GL codes for CFO authorization and participate in UAT.
• Deliver decision‑support and financial‑modelling simulations for Business Units.
• Conduct analytical reviews of loan and collection reports.
• Research and propose inter‑BU fee charges within finance‑team guidelines.
• Provide backup support to the immediate supervisor and handle ad‑hoc duties to achieve finance function objectives.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with capital‑expenditure evaluation and NPV computation.
• Ability to develop financial models and support decision‑making processes.
• Familiarity with accounting entries, general‑ledger coding and UAT participation.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
