Senior Credit Collections Analyst

About the role

AYA Bank is seeking a Senior Credit Collections Analyst to join its Yangon team. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will evaluate the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses, prepare credit proposals and support the bank’s risk mitigation efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, credit histories and market conditions to assess credit risk.
• Prepare detailed credit proposals and recommend appropriate credit limits and terms.
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments and monitor existing credit portfolios.
• Identify early‑warning signals and support timely risk mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and other departments to ensure seamless credit processes.
• Produce clear reports and documentation in line with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong credit management and evaluation capabilities.
• Solid analytical skills for financial and risk analysis.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
• Good understanding of finance, banking products and credit policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Experience in credit analysis, lending or risk management within a financial institution is an advantage.
• Ability to work accurately with financial data, meet deadlines and follow structured processes.
• Strong ethical standards, attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Fluency in English; Myanmar language proficiency is a plus.
