Credit Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Quality Assurance Officer to support our credit team in reviewing applications, monitoring existing facilities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves close collaboration with business, finance, and operations teams to maintain a robust credit risk framework.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and assessing credit applications and customer financial information.
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, bank statements, and other relevant data to support credit decisions.
• Help evaluate the creditworthiness and repayment capacity of customers.
• Monitor existing credit facilities, limits, overdue accounts, and overall credit exposure.
• Follow up on post‑disbursement conditions to ensure borrowers comply with approved terms.
• Conduct site visits and interview business owners to verify operations, inventory, and assets.
• Ensure credit assessment and documentation comply with internal policies, product manuals, procedures, and regulations.
• Coordinate with Business, Finance, Operations, and other departments on credit‑related matters.
• Prepare Credit Committee decision forms and meeting minutes accurately and promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in credit risk, credit analysis, banking, lending, or credit operations.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Understanding of credit assessment and issuance processes.
• Basic knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit risk principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with core banking or loan management systems (a plus).
