Credit Analysis & Portfolio Review Manager

About the role

The Credit Analysis & Portfolio Review Manager is responsible for independent credit assessment, reviewing loan proposals, and monitoring portfolio quality to identify emerging risks. The role supports sound credit decisions and ensures lending activities align with the bank’s policies, risk appetite, and portfolio objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent reviews of credit proposals, analyzing borrower financials, repayment capacity, and key risks.
• Assess loan structures, facility terms, collateral requirements, and risk mitigation measures for new, renewal, restructuring, and exception cases.
• Support credit risk assessment of new or revised lending products, reviewing parameters, eligibility criteria, and monitoring product performance.
• Monitor overall loan portfolio quality, analyzing trends such as delinquency, NPLs, sector concentration, and customer risk movement.
• Prepare credit risk reports and portfolio analysis for management and regulatory purposes.
• Ensure credit reviews follow approved policies and coordinate with Business Banking, Credit Administration, Collections, Legal, and Compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of experience in banking, credit administration, loan operations or related functions.
• Strong understanding of lending processes, loan documentation, collateral management and banking operations.
• Experience in credit file management and operational controls.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong communication and reporting skills.
• Supervisory or team‑leadership experience is a plus.
