Clinic Supervisor

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Clinic Supervisor to provide technical support and competency‑based supervision to partner health staff operating both mobile and static clinics. The role ensures that emergency health services are delivered in line with IRC protocols, guidelines and best practices while contributing to capacity‑building initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and capacity‑building training to partner medical doctors and clinic staff.
• Conduct regular competency‑based supportive supervision of mobile and static clinic teams.
• Organise and deliver job‑specific training based on supervision checklists.
• Oversee mobile clinic operations, including infrastructure, commodities, and equipment needs.
• Assist the Project Manager with logistics, administration, and personnel management for field‑based emergency response staff.
• Support the development of technical capacity‑building plans for partner health personnel.
• Participate in program monitoring, evaluation, and monthly reporting.
• Coordinate with health stakeholders, cluster members, and IRC operational and financial teams.

Required profile

• Experience supervising health teams in humanitarian or emergency settings.
• Strong understanding of clinical protocols and capacity‑building methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners, donors and internal IRC staff.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
