Bancassurance Consultant – Myawaddy/Kawthaung

About the role

The Bancassurance Consultant will work closely with bank branch staff to promote Manulife Myanmar’s insurance portfolio to bank customers. You will help clients identify their protection, savings and investment needs and guide them through the complete sales journey.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with bank branch personnel to market Manulife insurance products.
• Engage bank customers, assess their financial protection and investment requirements.
• Provide clear product information and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
• Support the end‑to‑end sales process, including consultations, policy applications and documentation.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with both bank staff and customers.
• Achieve individual sales and productivity targets.
• Deliver prompt, professional customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards and bancassurance procedures.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit timely reports.
• Participate in training programs, sales meetings and branch marketing activities.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer‑relationship experience in financial services, insurance or bancassurance; license holders preferred.
• Ability to conduct needs‑based selling and explain complex insurance solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with bank staff.
• Good analytical and reporting abilities, including tracking sales performance.
• Attention to detail, integrity and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the assigned branch and thrive in a target‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for sales reporting and documentation.
