Bancassurance Associate (Life Insurance)

About the role

Prudential is hiring a Bancassurance Associate in Yangon to help bank staff generate life insurance leads while they conduct banking transactions. The role supports the branch manager in driving life insurance business and works closely with the bank's sales and service team.

Key responsibilities

• Help bank staff generate life insurance leads while conducting banking transactions
• Be responsible for closing sales leads
• Support the Branch Manager in driving life insurance business
• Share knowledge about life insurance products with bank staff
• Provide data on life insurance sales parameters to the Branch Manager
• Work closely with the bank sales and service team to answer customer queries and service claims
• Build and maintain positive relationships with prospects and existing clients
• Take part actively in joint promotional activities run by the bank and insurance company

Required profile

• Graduate, preferably in Business, Economics or Banking
• At least 2 years of experience in banks, insurance or a related industry in sales
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to liaise with clients and keep strong, healthy relationships with partner bank and branch staff
