Assistant Sales Manager

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers via calls, emails, and sales visits; record visits in Salesforce.
• Support pricing negotiations, prepare quotations, and manage bookings.
• Coordinate rate agreement requests, approvals, and system filings in OPUS and Tiger.
• Liaise with Trade, CSVC, C/A, CASO, and offshore teams to resolve pricing, booking, and rating issues.
• Promote online booking, Salesforce usage, and other e‑commerce services.
• Monitor space utilization and support booking release processes.
• Handle special operational cases such as long‑stay containers, re‑export/re‑shipment, audits, disputes, and cargo abandonment.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and prevent dummy bookings before vessel departure.
• Share market intelligence and pricing insights to support sales performance.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management and trade management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Sales or related field (preferred).
• Experience in sales operations, pricing, or commercial roles; shipping/logistics experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with problem‑solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
