Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition

About the role

FairDeal Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and enhance its talent acquisition function. You will own the end‑to‑end recruitment process, partner with business leaders, and drive employer branding initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve recruitment strategies, policies, and processes aligned with business goals.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessments, offers, background checks, and onboarding.
• Lead executive and managerial hiring to secure key leadership talent.
• Drive employer branding through recruitment marketing, social media, career events, and university outreach.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, manage approvals, and provide strategic talent advice.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines through talent mapping and proactive sourcing.
• Identify and optimise recruitment channels, conduct market mapping and salary benchmarking.
• Develop SOPs, interview guides, competency frameworks, and assessment tools.
• Maintain recruitment dashboards, track metrics (Time‑to‑Hire, Cost‑per‑Hire, Quality of Hire, Source Effectiveness) and report on improvements.
• Coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices and support talent retention and succession planning.
• Mentor and develop the recruitment team to create a high‑performing function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field.
• Post‑graduate qualification (MBA or HR professional certification) is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution or FMCG sectors.
