Assistant Key Account Manager – Kha Wel Chan Branch

About the role

Makro Myanmar is seeking an Assistant Key Account Manager for its Kha Wel Chan branch. You will support the development and management of key customer accounts, working closely with both customers and internal teams to drive sales growth and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the list of active key account customers for Makro Myanmar.
• Analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly performance metrics (turnover, profit, margin, buying frequency) to inform strategic decisions.
• Plan and schedule key account outreach to anticipate major events and customer needs.
• Gather customer demands, expectations and needs, then propose short‑term solutions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt Makro’s strategy.
• Collaborate with the Store Customer Development and O2O teams to create tailored activity plans for each key account.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimum satisfaction.
• Drive sales, profit and account‑value KPIs.
• Engage with decision‑makers of key accounts to meet top‑line and bottom‑line targets.
• Provide primary‑level problem solving and identify solutions for customers.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in sales and key‑account management, preferably in FMCG or retail.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
