Head of Partnership Distribution

About the role

Prudential is seeking a Head of Partnership Distribution to lead and grow its bancassurance channel in Myanmar. The role bridges strategic partnership alignment with on‑ground execution, ensuring the bank network delivers sustainable sales, profitability and partnership value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute banca strategies and business plans aligned with company goals, shaping and managing strategic partnerships with banks.
• Own end‑to‑end banca sales performance, translating strategy into actionable plans across branches and monitoring production, case size and quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior bank management, influencing banks to prioritize insurance alongside core banking KPIs.
• Design and execute joint bancassurance campaigns, monitoring performance and adjusting to maximise results while maintaining cost discipline.
• Lead, coach and develop the banca team, enhancing capability in sales execution, negotiation and partnership management.
• Ensure operational excellence through strong coordination, process discipline, accurate reporting and data‑driven decision making.
• Drive digital adoption within the banca channel to improve efficiency in onboarding, lead generation and policy issuance.
• Manage compliance, regulatory requirements and risk across bancassurance operations and partnership agreements.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of experience in insurance, banking or financial services with strong exposure to bancassurance or partnership distribution.
• 7–10 years in senior leadership roles managing banca teams or strategic bank partnerships.
• Proven track record of driving bancassurance sales performance, productivity and profitability.
• Deep understanding of bancassurance business models, branch operations and customer flow dynamics.
• Fluent in English and Burmese, both written and spoken.
