Area Sales Officer

About the role

The Area Sales Officer (ASO) serves as the primary point of contact for customers, managing the distribution of assigned brands across designated outlets. The role focuses on building strong professional relationships, ensuring product visibility, meeting sales targets, and delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate outlet record cards and use them to plan calls and forecast orders.
• Execute the 6‑step Outlet Execution Excellence process, meeting all KPI and cycle‑plan requirements.
• Identify customer needs through questioning techniques and present product benefits effectively.
• Calculate recommended order quantities based on sales history, stock levels, and seasonal factors.
• Prospect new outlets, gather market intelligence, and schedule initial calls.
• Conduct structured negotiations, adhering to agreed walk‑away points and closing techniques.
• Handle product complaints promptly while following customer service standards.
• Maintain and update a standardized customer folder on a monthly basis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum two years of sales experience.
• Ability to lead innovation implementation and supervise staff.
• Strong self‑motivation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic English proficiency and fluency in Myanmar.
• Well‑organized, resourceful, and capable of working independently.
• Valid driving licence and ability to drive.
