Deputy Area Manager

About the role

The Deputy Area Manager supports the Area Manager in overseeing branch performance and operations across an assigned territory in Yangon. This full‑time, on‑site position involves supervising branch teams, monitoring sales activities, and ensuring compliance with service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach branch staff, ensuring targets are met.
• Develop and implement local sales strategies and track key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with head office functions and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare regular reports and participate in planning meetings.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Strong sales and business development experience in a competitive market.
• Solid understanding of insurance or financial services operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience, preferably in insurance or banking.
