Area Sales Officer – Bago Region

About the role

The Area Sales Officer will be the primary point of contact for customers in the Bago region, managing brand distribution across assigned outlets. The role focuses on building strong professional relationships, ensuring product visibility, meeting sales targets, and delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate outlet record cards for all customer visits.
• Review and adjust journey plans when territory boundaries change.
• Identify customer needs using questioning techniques and engage with prepared opening statements.
• Follow the 6‑Step Outlet Execution Excellence process to meet specific KPIs.
• Calculate recommended order quantities based on outlet sales and forecast activity.
• Prospect and acquire new outlets on a regular basis.
• Conduct structured negotiations to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Handle product complaints proactively according to established procedures.
• Adhere to customer service standards and maintain a standardized customer folder.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• More than two years of experience in a sales role.
• Strong self‑motivation, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to lead innovation implementation and supervise staff to achieve objectives.
• Ability to maintain performance expectations with limited resources.
• Basic English communication skills and fluency in Myanmar language.
