Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will join Tori Travel’s finance team in Yangon on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role focuses on managing the company’s customer invoicing, payment processing, and outstanding balance monitoring to support healthy cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and review customer invoices accurately.
• Record incoming payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts.
• Follow up on overdue invoices and coordinate collection efforts with clients.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams.
• Support month‑end closing activities and generate AR reports and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local accounting regulations.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, reconcile accounts, and identify variances.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience in the travel or service industry and familiarity with Myanmar accounting standards is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organization.
