Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a senior Supply & Logistics Manager (P‑4) on a fixed‑term basis to lead the supply chain functions for its Yangon country office and emergency response operations. The role ensures that essential goods, services and construction works are procured, cleared, stored and delivered efficiently to support programmes for children.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Supply section, overseeing planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, transport and distribution.
• Coordinate supply chain service delivery for routine operations and emergency response.
• Collaborate with programme teams and implementing partners to define supply interventions that meet programmatic needs.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government and national systems on supply chain management.
• Monitor and report on the performance of supplies, services and construction works.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health or a related field.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience at national and international levels in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting or related technical fields.
• Demonstrated understanding of development and humanitarian contexts.
