Senior Information Technology Manager

About the role

The Senior Information Technology Manager will shape and execute the IT strategy that supports the company’s insurance operations and long‑term business goals. Reporting to the CIO, the role oversees the full software development lifecycle, ensures system performance, and drives technology‑enabled efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with insurance operations and business objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end software development, deployment, and maintenance of core insurance systems (policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, CRM).
• Lead functional testing, system fine‑tuning, and performance optimisation in collaboration with vendors.
• Provide technical oversight for front‑end portals such as agent and bancassurance platforms.
• Maintain vendor relationships, enforce SLAs, and negotiate contracts.
• Support integration of financial systems with core insurance applications to ensure seamless data flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of IT experience, including leadership of an IT team and hands‑on software development.
• Proven experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English and Myanmar.
