Sales Supervisor – FMCG (Taunggyi)

About the role

The Sales Supervisor will lead sales and distribution activities for fast‑moving consumer goods across Taunggyi and surrounding townships. You will be responsible for achieving monthly targets, developing distributor relationships and coaching field sellers to maximise market coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales, distribution and coverage targets; monitor primary and secondary sales, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sub‑distributors, negotiate orders, stock levels and margins within company guidelines.
• Create and execute Monthly Coverage Plans, route plans and outlet coverage plans, closing any coverage gaps.
• Coach sellers on selling techniques, product knowledge, negotiation, outlet execution and market intelligence through regular field visits.
• Develop relationships with top wholesalers and key customers in each township, gathering market insights and identifying business opportunities.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports; analyse sales, distribution and productivity data using Excel and PowerPoint for business reviews.
• Travel frequently between Taunggyi, Loilem, Namsang, Yatsauk and Aungpan to support market, customer and seller activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; sales/marketing/business qualification is a plus.
• 2–4 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably with sub‑distributor or distributor management.
• Strong knowledge of FMCG sales, distribution and route‑to‑market strategies.
• Excellent relationship‑management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with intermediate‑advanced Excel abilities (pivot tables, reporting).
• High ownership, problem‑solving attitude and ability to meet business targets.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned territories.
