Project Manager (Civil)

About the role

Hillman Land is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead its construction project team in Pyin Oo Lwin. The role involves planning, managing and controlling construction activities to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery while meeting quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations, ensuring milestones are met.
• Lead project engineers, site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, coordinating daily construction activities and resolving issues.
• Control costs by monitoring budgets, reviewing contractor quotations, variations and payment claims, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements through regular site inspections.
• Prepare progress reports, maintain project documentation and communicate delays or major issues to management.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, defect rectification and handover activities to meet project completion deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in residential or real‑estate development.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, budgeting and quality control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to relocate and work onsite in Pyin Oo Lwin.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project).
