About the role
Under the supervision of the People & Culture Manager, the People & Culture Coordinator (Talent & Learning) will drive the implementation of Save the Children’s talent development, learning and performance management initiatives in the Yangon office. The role ensures that learning programmes are aligned with organisational priorities and that staff have access to the development opportunities they need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the Country Office Learning & Development strategy and annual learning plan, including needs assessments and identification of individual and departmental development needs.
- Organise internal and external training sessions – handling logistics, communications, participant management and post‑training evaluations.
- Maintain staff development plans, monitor training budgets and ensure expenses stay within the People & Culture Development budget.
- Support the design, development and delivery of internal learning programmes such as leadership, management, mandatory and functional training.
- Research and engage qualified trainers, consultants and learning providers, and manage procurement documentation in line with organisational policies.
- Track learning participation, effectiveness and maintain accurate records and dashboards for reporting.
- Provide guidance to staff and managers on development opportunities and ensure compliance with staff development policies.
- Integrate learning needs into emergency response workforce planning and support related initiatives.
Required profile
- Works under the People & Culture Manager with no direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate learning and development activities in a humanitarian or development context.
