Junior SAP ABAP Developer

About the role

Sunfix Consulting is seeking a Junior SAP ABAP Developer to join its consulting and development team. The role offers hands‑on experience with SAP implementation, enhancement, integration and Application Management Services, ideal for an early‑career professional eager to learn SAP technologies and business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP under senior guidance.
• Create and modify classical and ALV reports, Smart Forms, SAPscript and Adobe Forms.
• Implement enhancements via User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework and BAPIs.
• Support interface development and troubleshooting between SAP and external systems.
• Perform ABAP debugging, error analysis and root‑cause investigations.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications, documentation and manage transport objects.
• Execute unit testing and assist in SIT and UAT phases.
• Participate in bug fixing, change requests and SAP AMS activities.
• Learn SAP business processes across Finance, MM, SD, Plant Maintenance and contribute to ECC and S/4HANA projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• 0‑2 years of development experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic programming knowledge in ABAP or another language.
• Understanding of databases and SQL concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn SAP business processes and technologies.
