IT Assistant

About the role

The IT Assistant provides essential technical support to staff, faculty, and students, ensuring smooth operation of computer hardware, software, and network services. This role involves setting up and maintaining workstations, classrooms, and audio‑visual equipment, as well as managing software updates and backups. It is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of IT support experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, basic network infrastructure, and peripherals.
• Assist staff, faculty, and students with day‑to‑day IT troubleshooting and technical inquiries.
• Set up, configure, and maintain office workstations, classroom computers, and audio‑visual equipment.
• Manage software installations, updates, and system backups.
• Assist with inventory management for IT equipment and software licenses.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of operating systems, hardware maintenance, and basic network setup (LAN/Wi‑Fi).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience are welcome.
