Head of Investments – Strategic Portfolio Management

About the role

The Head of Investments will drive the group’s strategic growth by overseeing portfolio strategy, capital allocation, and financial analysis across multiple business units. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with senior leadership, the role ensures robust investment governance and supports long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the group’s investment portfolio, including returns, risk exposure, and capital deployment.
• Develop and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario planning for new projects, acquisitions, partnerships, and expansion opportunities.
• Provide actionable financial insights to guide strategic capital allocation, infrastructure investments, and operational expansion.
• Establish and enforce investment review processes, reporting frameworks, and governance standards for the investment committee and senior management.
• Deliver regular performance reports and portfolio health assessments to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field; advanced qualifications such as CFA or MBA are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, financial analysis, or portfolio management, preferably in oil & gas, energy, real estate or other capital‑intensive sectors.
• Experience with Big Four accounting firms (EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations.
