Assistant Manager, Corporate & Distribution Strategy

About the role

Prudential is seeking an Assistant Manager to support its Strategy & Transformation function in Myanmar. The role focuses on high‑quality analysis, financial modelling, and coordination of distribution compensation, contests, campaigns, and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update and maintain financial models for distribution compensation, sales contests and campaign proposals.
• Conduct scenario modelling, cost‑benefit analysis, sensitivity testing and impact assessments to support decision‑making.
• Track campaign and compensation budgets, monitor performance against plan and explain variances.
• Coordinate inputs from Distribution, Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Compliance and Operations to ensure complete and accurate proposals.
• Prepare regular MIS, dashboards and performance packs for management review.
• Support annual strategic and business planning cycles through data collection, analysis and presentation preparation.
• Assist the Manager in driving transformation initiatives, including process improvement and operating model changes.
• Track project plans, milestones, risks and actions, and prepare concise updates for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in insurance, banking, finance, actuarial, strategy, business planning, financial analysis, consulting or Big 4 audit/advisory.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English and Burmese, both written and spoken.
