Head of Information Technology

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Head of Information Technology to steer our software engineering, infrastructure, and IT operations. The role will define and execute the technology strategy that underpins digital payments and government platforms, bridging business goals with technical execution.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and implement the long‑term technology vision, architecture and roadmap.
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and adopting best practices.
• Lead collaboration between technology, commercial, enterprise clients, government stakeholders and international partners.
• Supervise software development, application deployment, system maintenance and infrastructure management to ensure high availability.
• Ensure compliance with national regulations, cybersecurity laws and data‑privacy standards.
• Mentor and scale a high‑performing engineering organization, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration and IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record delivering complex enterprise‑grade projects in fintech, digital payments or e‑government.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Professional fluency in English; Myanmar language proficiency is a plus.
