About the role

Jackson Hewitt is seeking experienced tax preparers to join its fast‑paced, client‑focused team. You will work directly with individuals, trusts, and partnerships to prepare accurate tax returns while delivering exceptional service in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, trust, and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Interact with clients to gather necessary documentation and answer tax‑related questions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax law and apply them to client filings.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of client information.
• Participate in ongoing tax‑preparation training and continuing education.

Required profile

• At least one tax season of experience completing individual, trust, or partnership returns.
• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven setting.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new tools.
