Division Head – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Division Head to lead our pharmaceutical commercial business in Myanmar. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape and execute the division’s strategy, drive sales growth, and build strong relationships across the healthcare ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a robust divisional business strategy aligned with the company’s growth ambitions in Myanmar.
• Lead the national sales organization to achieve or exceed revenue targets and KPIs, implementing best‑in‑class sales execution frameworks.
• Design and implement innovative demand generation strategies to increase patient access and product adoption.
• Build trusted relationships with doctors, hospital administrators, healthcare institutions, and professional associations.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high‑performing national sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, HR, and global teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies.
• Utilize data analytics, market intelligence, and performance insights to identify growth opportunities and address performance gaps.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, ethical marketing practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a strong field presence through regular coaching visits and travel across Myanmar to support key markets and strategic accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred MBBS, B.Pharm, MBA or related postgraduate qualification).
• 12–15 years of experience in ethical/prescription pharmaceutical sales with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
