Assistant Auditor - Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

Myint & Associates Co., Ltd. is looking for a motivated and energetic auditor to join its Internal Audit Department. The role offers an opportunity to develop an audit career across a variety of business operations, with exposure to both offshore and onshore oil and gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in auditing daily advance, clearance and direct cases within required timelines
• Maintain audit records, supporting documents and audit working papers
• Conduct cash verification and compliance checks across departments
• Take part in physical stock counts and inventory verification
• Identify and report audit findings, irregularities and suspicious cases to senior management
• Support initiatives to safeguard company assets and strengthen internal controls
• Travel to operational sites for audit assignments and compliance reviews, including site inspections of offshore and onshore oil and gas projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, finance or a related field
• LCCI Level III (ACCA Part I / II preferred)
• At least 2 years of relevant audit experience
• Willingness to travel and work at offshore and onshore oil and gas sites when required
