Trade Marketing Executive

About the role

The Trade Marketing Executive is responsible for executing and optimizing trade marketing initiatives to boost sales performance and enhance brand visibility across both general trade (GT) and modern trade (MT) channels in Myanmar. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure alignment with national business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of the national trade marketing plan.
• Lead strategy development in collaboration with the management team.
• Organize and participate in trade campaigns, trade shows, in‑store promotions and industry events.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide insights.
• Assess trade activity performance and present ROI metrics.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand brand presence.
• Conduct regular trade visits across channels.
• Manage POSM and trade marketing resources nationwide.
• Lead contract negotiations and renewals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of trade marketing experience, preferably in FMCG or retail.
• Strong knowledge of general trade (GT) and modern trade (MT) channels.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and communication abilities.
• Results‑driven and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools.
