Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term – Yangon

About the role

The Supply & Logistics Manager reports to the Deputy Representative Operations and leads the supply chain functions of UNICEF's country office in Yangon. This senior position oversees planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, transport, and distribution to ensure timely delivery of goods and services that support programme outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full supply chain cycle, from needs assessment to final delivery, for a medium to large‑size country office and emergency response operations.
• Coordinate procurement, contracting, customs, warehousing, in‑country transport and distribution activities.
• Collaborate closely with programme teams to define supply interventions that meet programmatic needs.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government bodies, national systems and implementing partners on supply chain management.
• Monitor and report on supplies, services and construction works to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health or a related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience at national and international levels in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting or related technical fields.
• Demonstrated understanding of development and humanitarian contexts.

• Proven capacity to initiate and manage change in diverse environments.
• Excellent communication skills for clear and concise expression of ideas.
