Fleet Supervisor

About the role

The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fleet department. This role includes managing driver rosters, scheduling vehicle maintenance, assigning vehicles and drivers to tasks, and ensuring effective management of drivers and vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the drivers’ roster to ensure coverage for all shifts and routes.
• Monitor driver attendance and punctuality.
• Supervise and support drivers by providing guidance on company policy, safety regulations, and required trainings.
• Conduct regular inspections of all vehicles to ensure they are in good condition.
• Schedule routine maintenance and repairs of the vehicles.
• Keep detailed records of fuel usage, vehicle maintenance and service history.
• Assign vehicles and drivers to specific tasks based on operational needs.
• Use fleet management software to monitor utilization and optimize operations.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using fleet management software.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and logistics operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Graduate or degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in fleet management or a similar supervisory role.
• Good written and oral English skills.
