Site Activation Specialist – Sponsor Dedicated (0.8 FTE)

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a part‑time Site Activation Specialist dedicated to sponsor projects. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality site start‑up activities at the country level, ensuring compliance with project requirements and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Produce quality deliverables for site activation, adhering to country‑specific rules and sponsor SOPs.
• Forecast submission and approval timelines, track milestones in the SSU tracking system, and provide contingency plans when delays occur.
• Monitor project financials, hours, and tasks, escalating discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and Work Instructions, keep training records up to date, and ensure timesheet accuracy.
• Submit all required documents to the Trial Master File (TMF) in line with sponsor and company standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of Site Start‑Up (SSU) processes, including submissions, essential document collection, and communications with Competent Authorities and Ethics Committees.

Required profile

• Experience in clinical site activation or start‑up activities.
• Familiarity with SOPs, Work Instructions, and regulatory submission processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage timelines and financial aspects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SSU tracking systems.
• Trial Master File (TMF) documentation management.
• Knowledge of regulatory submission requirements.
