The role reports to the Senior M&E Manager, has no financial approval responsibility and involves negotiation and representation with senior representatives from partner organisations.

  • Help develop M&E tools such as data collection forms, databases and supervision checklists, and take part in data and implementation review meetings.
  • Support capacity building of sub-recipients, including training, clarifying indicators and targets, and strengthening data quality, visualisation and analysis.
  • Lead coordination meetings with sub-recipients, assess programme alignment with GFATM and national guidelines, and implement internal monitoring and compliance systems.
  • Provide technical assistance to sub-recipients and support eHealth initiatives.
  • Produce reports, presentations and publications, and work with UN agencies and national programmes to align tools and procedures.
  • Comply with the Child Safeguarding Policy, including reporting suspicions of child abuse.

Required profile

  • At least 4 to 5 years of experience in public health projects.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

  • Willingness to travel to field sites and work in difficult environments.
  • Commitment to Save the Children's aims, values and principles, and compliance with its policies including health and safety, equal opportunities and child safeguarding.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Desirable: monitoring and evaluation experience, operational or academic knowledge of HIV and TB, and knowledge of DHIS2, Power BI or similar data tools.
