Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

About the role

The Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will lead the implementation of the M&E work plan, ensure high‑quality data collection and analysis, and support field teams to improve program outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Mainstream global M&E guidelines at field level and adapt tools and templates throughout the project cycle.
• Organise training for enumerators, supervise field teams, and ensure participatory M&E activities.
• Develop and maintain guidance, standards, and databases for data collection, analysis and IPTT tracking.
• Conduct periodic data quality audits, supervise sampling design and implement both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
• Configure and support mobile data collection platforms (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, OKD Collect, ONA Collect) and ensure proper data transfer.
• Perform data cleaning, descriptive analysis using Excel Pivot tables or statistical software, and synthesize findings for reports.
• Support evaluation design, supervise field‑level evaluation activities and coordinate with external evaluators.
