SAP Functional Lead

About the role

City Holdings Limited is seeking an SAP Functional Lead to manage and optimise its SAP finance landscape across a diverse portfolio of retail, distribution and consumer‑business units. The role is full‑time, based on‑site in Myanmar and will work closely with finance, IT and business teams to ensure the SAP system supports accurate reporting and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and optimise SAP FI/CO modules to meet business requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and oversee system documentation and user training.
• Analyse finance processes, design and implement SAP‑based solutions, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to resolve system issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Standardise finance processes and internal controls across multiple business units.
• Monitor system performance and lead system‑enhancement projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in SAP Finance (FI/CO) configuration and integration.
• Solid finance and accounting background, including budgeting, reporting and closing cycles.
• Experience in data analysis, process design and documentation.
• Effective stakeholder management and project‑management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; CPA, ACCA or CIMA preferred.
• Prior experience in large‑scale retail, distribution or consumer‑business environments, preferably in Myanmar or similar markets.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Myanmar and engage in hands‑on operational support.
