Sales Supervisor – FMCG Distribution & Market Development

About the role

The Sales Supervisor will manage and grow sales and distribution across key territories in Myanmar. You will be responsible for achieving monthly targets, developing market strategies, and coaching sellers to improve performance.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales, distribution and coverage targets; monitor primary/secondary sales and take corrective actions.
• Build strong relationships with sub‑distributors (SD), conduct business reviews and negotiate orders, stock and margin within company guidelines.
• Create and monitor Monthly Coverage Plans (MCP), route plans and outlet coverage, closing any gaps.
• Coach sellers on selling skills, product knowledge, negotiation, outlet execution, distribution and market intelligence through regular field coaching.
• Develop relationships with top wholesalers and key customers in each township, understand competitor activity and identify business opportunities.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports; analyse sales, distribution, productivity and coverage using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Travel frequently to Kyeikhto, Thaton, Thanbyuzayat, Yae, Hpa‑An and Myawaddy for market, customer, SD and seller visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; sales/marketing/business qualification is a plus.
• 2–4 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably with sub‑distributor/distributor management.
• Strong knowledge of FMCG sales, distribution and route‑to‑market.
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation, communication and influencing abilities.
• Good analytical skills with intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong ownership, problem‑solving mindset and ability to meet business targets.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the listed territories.
