Bancassurance Consultant (Mawlamyaing)

About the role

Join Manulife Myanmar as a Bancassurance Consultant in Mawlamyaing, working closely with bank branch staff to bring tailored insurance solutions to customers. You will act as the bridge between the bank and Manulife, helping clients protect their financial future while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with bank branch staff to promote Manulife Myanmar’s insurance products and services.
• Engage with bank customers to understand their financial protection, savings, and investment needs.
• Provide product information and recommend appropriate insurance solutions based on customer requirements.
• Support the end‑to‑end sales process, including consultations, policy applications, and documentation submission.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with bank staff and customers.
• Achieve assigned individual sales and productivity targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and bancassurance sales processes.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit required reports on time.
• Participate in training programs, sales meetings, and branch marketing or promotional activities.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer relationship experience in financial services, insurance or bancassurance.
• Ability to conduct needs‑based selling, explain complex insurance solutions clearly, and support customers through the sales process.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate effectively with bank staff and internal stakeholders.
• Good analytical and reporting abilities, including tracking sales performance and conversion rates.
• Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work on‑site in the assigned branch and perform in a target‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic office software for sales reporting and documentation.
