RAMS Engineer

About the role

Expleo Group is seeking an experienced RAMS Engineer to support multiple railway projects. The consultant will deliver safety and reliability studies and act as a senior technical liaison with international clients and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform RAMS activities across railway projects in line with applicable standards.
• Produce and maintain safety and reliability deliverables such as FMEA/AMDEC, Preliminary Risk Analysis (APR), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Reliability, Safety and Dependability documentation (RSD) and Safety Critical Item List (SCIL).
• Support safety assessments and risk‑management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the senior technical interface with international clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Prepare regular progress reports and ensure high‑quality project documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of RAMS experience in the railway industry.
• Proven client‑facing experience with the ability to manage contractual and technical discussions.
• Strong knowledge of EN 50126 and EU Regulation 402/2013 (Common Safety Method).
• Hands‑on experience with ISOGRAPH and ARALIA tools.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities and produce excellent documentation.
• Fluent in English; French mandatory; Spanish a plus.
