About the role
The Myanmar Council of Churches' Holistic Child Development Project is seeking a committed Christian professional to serve as a Partnership Facilitator II. The role focuses on strengthening relationships with church partners, building capacity, and supporting child and youth development initiatives across Myanmar.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partner churches, facilitating ownership and leadership development.
- Support churches in identifying ministry priorities, developing strategies, and mobilizing local resources for sustainable impact.
- Facilitate needs assessments, annual ministry planning, budgeting, and program implementation.
- Monitor progress, provide guidance, and assist churches in overcoming implementation challenges.
- Coordinate support from Church Facing Team members, manage partnership agreements, and ensure timely reporting.
- Oversee clusters of partner churches, promote peer learning, and engage denominational and community stakeholders.
- Promote child protection policies, raise awareness, and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Theology, Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field.
- Minimum three years of professional experience in community development, child-focused programming, or church partnership management.
- Experience working with churches, faith‑based organizations, NGOs, or community initiatives.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and relationship‑management abilities.
- Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
- Fluent Burmese (written and spoken); working knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Demonstrated personal Christian faith and commitment to the mission of the project.
