New Business Senior Executive

About the role

We are a leading Japanese life insurance group expanding in Myanmar. The New Business Senior Executive will lead end‑to‑end new business operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency while collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and delivery of operations projects, managing timelines, risks and stakeholder updates.
• Oversee data quality, governance and reporting readiness for sound decision‑making.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives such as process automation, system enhancements and workflow improvements.
• Assist team coordination, workload monitoring, coaching and performance follow‑up.
• Manage operational change initiatives, including impact assessment, communication and training.
• Provide hands‑on support for day‑to‑day business‑as‑usual operations to ensure service continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Insurance or a related field (insurance certifications a plus).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in new‑business operations, underwriting coordination or process management.
• Proven experience with UAT, sanction screening and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Familiarity with policy core systems.
• Knowledge of Kaizen or Lean process‑improvement methodologies.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
