Legal Specialist

About the role

foodpanda is seeking a Legal Specialist to support its regional operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial agreements and corporate governance are compliant with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements and advise stakeholders on contract matters.
• Conduct advanced legal research and provide assessments for regional offices and local teams.
• Prepare board resolutions, annual declarations to the Ministry of Commerce and manage corporate secretarial duties.
• Identify and implement process improvements for the local legal function.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal and compliance roles.
• Strong understanding of Burmese legal and regulatory frameworks and ability to assess risks within the Cambodian context.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Excellent drafting, reviewing and negotiating skills for commercial and legal agreements under Burmese law.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate legal and compliance risks.
