Lead Teacher – Secondary Education

About the role

SCHOLARS International School is seeking enthusiastic Lead Teachers for its secondary programme. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will design and deliver engaging, standards‑based lessons while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons for secondary students.
• Design curricula, instructional materials and assessment tools.
• Provide constructive feedback and monitor student progress.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Maintain regular communication with families and guardians.
• Participate in school events, professional development activities and contribute to a safe, respectful school culture.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in one or more secondary disciplines (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies).
• Proven instructional skills, including lesson planning, classroom management and student assessment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject; teaching certification or licensure preferred.
• Experience teaching at the secondary level in an international or diverse school setting is an advantage.
