Grant Coordinator (GFATM-PR)

About the role

Save the Children is Principal Recipient of four large Global Fund grants (USD 100 million, 2021-23) and oversees 13 partners. This is a Myanmar-national position based in Yangon, reporting to the Finance & Grants Manager, with regular travel to partner sites (about one week every two months). It covers desk reviews of partner financial reports, budget and fund disbursement, compliance, monitoring, capacity building and audit follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Desk review of partner financial reports, share findings and feedback, and ensure GLACOS adjustments are correctly posted
• Calculate country share costs using SCI CAM and review partner budgets, taking part in negotiations and reprogramming
• Prepare fund disbursement recommendations and maintain sub-grant tracking sheets reconciled against Agresso
• Ensure partners comply with donor and SCI policies, attach mandatory policies to agreements, and support the pre-award capacity assessment
• Monitor partner progress, prepare monitoring reports after visits, and follow up corrective action plans
• Take part in capacity-building needs assessments and train partner finance staff
• Take part in grant audits and investigations, and follow up audit corrective actions
• Adhere to the Child Safeguarding Policy and report suspicions of child abuse

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field; professional certification (e.g. CPA/ACCA), postgraduate degree or first-level degree plus two years of qualifying experience preferred
• At least four years of finance experience in a national or international organization; Global Fund project experience, external/internal audit or compliance work for international organizations preferred
• Good written and spoken English, strong organization and time-management skills
• Willingness to travel to field offices up to 25% of working time and to work under pressure
