Export & Import Supervisor

About the role

Marlarmyaing Agrochemical Company Limited is looking for an Export & Import Supervisor to oversee end-to-end import and export activities. The role covers document preparation, customs clearance coordination, supplier and customer follow-up, and supervision of export and import staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all import and export activities so that shipments are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with company procedures.
• Prepare, review and control import/export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and air waybills, certificates of origin, and import/export licenses.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, government authorities and other agencies to ensure timely customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
• Work with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, warehouses and internal departments to keep shipments on time.
• Monitor registrations, permits, licenses and certificates for agricultural chemicals and ensure compliance with the law.
• Supervise export and import staff, assign daily tasks, review performance, resolve operational issues and prepare regular import/export status reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in International Business, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or a related field; professional certification in Import/Export or Logistics is an advantage.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in import/export, international trade, logistics or customs clearance, including supervisory experience.
• Experience in the agricultural, agrochemical or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, shipping processes, Incoterms, customs clearance, freight forwarding and international trade practices.
• Ability to prepare and verify import/export documents, shipping documents, customs paperwork, permits, licenses and certificates with high accuracy.
• Good understanding of Myanmar import/export regulations and customs requirements for agricultural chemical products.
• Follow-up and coordination with overseas suppliers and customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, government authorities and internal departments.
