Compensation & Benefits Specialist

About the role

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist reports to the Compensation & Benefits Senior Manager within the People & Culture division. The purpose of the role is to administer all payroll-related services so that employees receive efficient, confidential support on salaries, allowances, leave administration and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee master data and keep it up to date in the HRIMS.
• Support the effectiveness of the payroll system and resolve data errors or deficiencies in ESS/MSS and SAP.
• Assist in audit operations and implement audit recommendations.
• Handle day-to-day people services tasks, including employee confirmation, attendance management, offboarding, benefits administration and coordination with Finance on employee payables.
• Maintain a confidential database of official documents, employee records and government forms.
• Act as the main contact for government HR matters such as labor inspections, the Social Security Board and ministry correspondence.
• Prepare and submit mandatory government reports and declarations in line with labor laws, tax regulations and employment standards, and advise the HR team on legislative changes.
• Keep personnel files current and work with OD, HRBPs and departments on accurate, timely people analytics reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR services or a related area.
• Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• Good understanding of local labor laws, especially on employee records, offboarding and dealings with labor offices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HRMS tools such as SAP, ESS/MSS or similar systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for data management and reporting.
