Commercial Data Analyst – Corporate

About the role

The Commercial Data Analyst (Corporate) will work on‑site in Yangon, supporting pricing strategies, sales performance tracking and market forecasting for a leading building‑materials supplier. The role involves collecting, cleaning and analysing commercial data to provide actionable insights that drive revenue, margins and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, consolidate and validate business data from SAP and other internal systems.
• Analyse sales, revenue, product, customer, distributor, territory, pricing and channel performance.
• Identify trends, gaps and opportunities, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
• Develop and maintain management dashboards, recurring reports and performance trackers.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Finance, Operations and Management to support cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (any field) with a Certificate in Data Analytics preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or commercial analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and commercially minded.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP and Excel for large‑dataset extraction and validation.
• Experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• Knowledge of SQL or comparable query languages.
