Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Strategic Finance Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to shape and execute the Group’s financial strategy across multiple business sectors. The CFO will act as a trusted advisor to the Board and Executive Management, driving performance, risk management, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group’s financial strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Advise the Board on financial planning, investments, performance, and risk.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, FP&A, and consolidated reporting.
• Oversee treasury functions, cash flow, liquidity, working capital, debt facilities and capital allocation.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, local accounting standards, tax laws and statutory requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls, internal audit, governance policies and risk‑management frameworks.
• Conduct financial due diligence and investment appraisal for M&A, joint ventures, expansions and major CAPEX projects.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, tax advisors and regulators.
• Drive finance transformation through digitalisation, automation and improved systems.
• Provide strategic insights to enhance profitability, optimise costs and support sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent) preferred.
• Significant senior‑level finance experience, preferably in a group or multi‑business environment.
• Strong background in financial strategy, FP&A, treasury, taxation, reporting, internal controls and investment evaluation.
• Experience working with banks and managing financing arrangements is an advantage.
• In‑depth knowledge of Myanmar financial, tax, regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen.
