Chief Accountant

About the role

The Chief Accountant will lead all finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance across daily, monthly, and yearly cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly finance and accounting operations.
• Review and approve transactions, payment vouchers, advances, and accounting entries.
• Monitor and control cash flow, income, and expenses.
• Handle monthly and year‑end closing and manage audits.
• Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, costing, and management reports to top management.
• Establish and ensure compliance with accounting policies and audit requirements.

Required profile

• B.Com, ACCA, CPA, or a relevant bachelor’s degree/diploma in accounting or finance.
• At least 7 years of experience in accounting & finance, including 3 years in senior management.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, costing, forecasting, and audit processes.
• Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines responsibly.
